Elizabeth Moss is great. My favorite acting role where the actor tells the story with just his face is in Kenneth Branagh's version of Henry V. The Dauphin sends Henry a mocking tribute of tennis balls. His representative ( the sentinel) seems to enjoy the insult until Henry responds. The look on the sentinel's face changes so wonderfully during Henry's speech that we know how the film will proceed. France is in big trouble.

While watching an episode of The Handmaid's Tale in the latest season I recognized the string composition from the movie "Arrival". So I did some Googling and found out the piece was "On The Nature Of Daylight".

I have observed that a large chunk of the series is comprised of extreme closeups of Moss' face with little or no dialogue. It's interesting to watch how she can express so much for example when taking 30 seconds or more to respond to other characters.

It seems so real. As a comparison watch Mel Gibson in Braveheart when he discovers he's been betrayed by Robert The Bruce on the battlefield. Does not seem at all genuine.

I haven't finished the season yet.
