The technological adjustment coming out of prison can be daunting. I was once talking with John Artis ( imprisoned in the Hurricane Carter case) he told me that he had a panic attack on his drive home from prison when he realized that he had no idea of how to open the car door at the end of his trip. It's funny that you mention Tool. I had read about them in guitar magazines during the 90s but never actually heard them. My local radio station ( a college station) has been trying to broaden the music that it plays and while driving, I heard them for the first time.
