I watched the first episode of the Walking Dead, didn't like it and never watched again. I'm not a fan of zombie movies and the only one I like is "Zombieland" with Woody Harrelson. I saw "Night of the Living Dead" when it first came out and thought it was OK . Shortly after, I was camping with some friends in Pennsylvania and got the creeps one night at our site. When I returned home, a friend told me that I camped at the site of the filming of Night of the Living Dead. Never went back.LOL.

I dropped out after the second death of glen but not for the reasons you might think. That episode was the most gripping thing on television in a long time. but I just never went back...it was not planned. What I began to notice is that despite great character development and tension as well as emotional engagement.........that really there was no endgame........it was just an emotional roller coaster every week hoping against hope that your favorite characters wouldn't die. But of course they almost always do. Now this made the show kind of realistic..........but I ran out of reasons to watch it.

Can we give a shout out to Shaun of the dead?

the barn scene. man, was that one of the best scenes in any series ever.

i'm looking forward to the end of TWD, and moving on to the spinoffs. FTWD rocks, thanks to Lennie James and Jenna Elfman, but i'm a fan anyway. not into the kids version, but i think it's out too soon. we're still in the apocalypse, they're mostly past it.

also, i'd watch Norman Reedus sleep. so bring that on.
