Sugartooth and other bands that "sound like Nirvana" were not the only casualties of the firing of Hale Milgram as president of Capitol records. Established artists like Heart and Bonnie Raitt got the heave ho too. Richard Thompson OBE ( same awards ceremony with Clapton and Page) one of the greatest guitarists of all time got purged too. Strangely enough all three artists regrouped as artists on their own labels and free of corporate interference made better music and ( for their sakes) more money.Thanks for presenting this interview it adds to my understanding of the business of music.
