I once saw Will Smith. He was filming I am Legend. They had emptied out Fifth Ave. It was on a Sunday. I had to be at work at noon. I came out of the subway on the other side of the street and waited for Smith to be off the Avenue before I crossed. Apparently I was too fast and I heard a man going bonkers, it was the director. When I watched the film I looked to see if somehow they left me in. They didn't.

My niece recently binge watched the original Fresh Prince. I didn't watch it all with her, but caught a few episodes. The politics in it were interesting. Uncle Phil had grown up in the south and made a name for himself as a big time attorney. He was poked fun of for being a Republican, but at the same time was taking pro bono work and fighting for racial equality in local politics. At the same time he was ashamed of his poor southern upbringing.
